Gloo is a Queensland based business founded by Steph and Sophie, who met at the same independent school in Queensland. Between us we bring first-hand teaching experience and a background in stakeholder engagement, change management and business improvement.

No. Gloo is completely free for teachers. Schools pay us when we make a successful placement, so you get the matching, the guidance, the community and a full year of support at no cost to you.

We specialise in graduate and early career teachers, those in their first five years.

To teach in an Australian school you'll need current registration with the relevant authority, such as QCT in Queensland. If you're a graduate about to be registered, we can still start the conversation early.

A full year of support, including a mentor, our teacher community and events, and a hand settling into your new community. You stay part of Gloo well beyond that too.

We'd much rather catch a problem early than find out too late, which is exactly what the year of support is built to do. Most wobbles in a first year are normal and fixable, and we'll work with you and your school to put things right. But if it genuinely can't be resolved, you won't be left stranded. We'll sit down with you, understand what went wrong, and help you find a school that fits better, with the same care and support as the first time. You're not a placement to us. You're someone we're invested in for the long run.

If a teacher we place leaves within the agreed timeframe, we will find a replacement for free or offer you a refund.
